What moves me?

Hello, my name is Mary Jo McClain!  I have an appetite for understanding what inspires clients!  The foundation of a successful transaction is setting up a well-planned, individualized approach to focus on helping each customer execute their goals, whether buying or selling.  That path of excellence is achieved by catering to my customers and providing superior service even after the transaction closes. 

I grew up in small town Dyersville, located west of Dubuque, where my family owns and operates a third-generation construction company specializing in custom home building.  Their business set the foundation for my commitment to real estate and the construction industry.  After college, my education, in Finance and Accounting, brought me to a corporate job in Peosta where I gained valuable experience in development.

Peosta is where I met my husband and where we reside, just on the edge of Dubuque.  Together we own and operate an auction company which specializes in real estate and farm and construction equipment.  I also enjoy staying active in the corporate world utilizing my background in accounting and finance.  I have a passion for work and I thrive from the positivity of being around others and the relationships it creates. 

In my free time, I value time with family, traveling, and finding inspiration in architectural and interior design.  I enjoy the serenity of farm life and relishing the rewards from hard work on our farm.
